 Subscriptions

If you wish to subscribe to any of the ARISE-US hosted workspaces or ARISE-US email alerts, we may ask for some basic demographic information (address, country, zip code). We use this information to learn more about our audience as well as to improve the delivery of customized services.

 You can unsubscribe from any of our mailing service by letting us know via email or via the "contact us" facility on the website (see below).

Conference/Event registration

For registration and subsequent electronic correspondence concerning ARISE-US conferences and meetings, we may request you to supply an e-mail address, a picture, basic demographic information (address, country, zip code) and nationality.

Surveys

ARISE-US regularly post surveys to collect inputs from the DRR community in order to inform practitioners generally and our own programs, products and service delivery. In this context, we may ask for some contact details, basic demographic information and information related to your professional background.  This information will not be disclosed in any manner that allows individuals to be identified.

Cloud Processing

Please be aware that this website is hosted by a cloud service provider physically based in the United States of America.  Any data you provide us will therefore also be resident in the USA, and it is assumed that any data you enter is provided consistently with your own country's data residency laws.  Also, that data will be stored under the privacy and security practices of the cloud service provider, for which ARISE-US takes no responsibility.

Any information you disclose when posting a message in our workspaces may be public depending on the settings of the workspace. Subscribers who post a message in a workspace may make their e-mail address visible to other subscribers, which could result in unsolicited e-mail from other subscribers or parties, for which ARISE-US declines responsibility.
